Tropical Traditions Organic Coconut Oil Giveaway!

Why I Love Coconut Oil

I love me some coconut oil. Using organic, unrefined coconut oil is a large part of my initiative to live a greener, healthier, and more natural lifestyle. Since I started using it about a year ago, I rarely use anything else. It's benefits and uses are endless. I use it for cooking and baking, lip gloss, skin and hair moisturizer, and more. What's great is that there are no icky chemicals and preservatives like many other products on the market. If you ask me, less is more!

Tropical Traditions Organic Coconut Oil Giveaway
I'm excited to announce that Tropical Traditions will giveaway a quart of this healthy, unrefined oil to one lucky winner. When you sign up for their newsletter (one of the requirements to enter the contest) you can be the first to receive specials and sales they are offering.

Tropical Traditions also sells other products, such as:

  • Coconut Flour and shredded coconut
  • Organic foods such as chocolate, snack foods, baking supplies
  • Skin care products like soaps and moisturizers
  • Household goods like laundry detergent and all-purpose cleaners
  • Supplements like digestive enzymes and colostrum
This virgin coconut oil is unrefined, has a coconutty flavor and is good to use when you want some of that coconut to come through in your baking and dishes. Think coconut shrimp (yum) and my recipe for Paleo Coconut Pecan Banana Bread.  Read more about what Virgin Coconut Oil is here.

Would you like to win some?  Of course you would!
The contest begins Tuesday August 21 and ends Wednesday August 29 at 11:59 PST. I will email the winner within a few days after the contest ends and they will have 48 hours to respond before I select another winner.

Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil - 32 oz.Win 1 quart of Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil!
Tropical Traditions is America’s source for coconut oil. Their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is hand crafted in small batches by family producers, and it is the highest quality coconut oil they offer. You can read more about how virgin coconut oil is different from other coconut oils on their website: What is Virgin Coconut Oil?

Tropical Traditions also carries other varieties of affordable high quality coconut oil. Visit their website to check on current sales, to learn about the many uses of coconut oil, and to read about all the advantages of buying coconut oil online. Since the FDA does not want us to discuss the health benefits of coconut oil on a page where it is being sold or given away, here is the best website to read about the health benefits of coconut oil.

I will also be posting a personal review of this coconut oil in my next blog article.  Stay tuned!

  4. Wow, I am glad I found you. It sure pays to get news from T.T. Thank you also for having this giveaway. I use coconut oil all the time on my skin and for cooking. I fry with it and I use it in all my baked items instead of butter. I am on Gaps now for almost 2 and a half years and depend on Coconut oil for healing. It can be a little out of my budget, but maybe I will get lucky and win. Good luck to everyone that enters.

    1. Hi Kathy, I also use this to fry with. I made taco shells the other night and they turned out fabulous. How is GAPS going for you? Do you find it is helping you? I did GAPS but didn't do the first step.

    2. Gaps is going great. I have been doing it faithfully for 2 years and 5 months. I still have some healing to do, but I am almost 60 years old and was on a standard american diet the whole time, so I probably have a way to go yet. I guess that after eating so poorly for so long that it will take a lot longer to see complete healing, but I find that I really enjoy this way of eating. I just feel a lot better now. Btw, the Gaps yahoo group is really helpful for getting people on the right track. If it were not for them, I probably would have given up a long time ago.

    3. Kathy,

I applaud your willpower and tenacity on GAPS! 2 + years is quite impressive. Thanks for the tip, I'll have to check out the Yahoo groups for GAPs. I'm now mostly eating Paleo (no sugar, grains or dairy) so just protein with a lot of veggies on the side. I do cheat now and then - like today, when my fiance asked me to make him some cheese dip! But I didn't eat a lot of it. I now psychologically associate certain foods with feeling bad, so its easy to pass them by. Who wants to feel crummy? Besides, its been an adventure for me to find alternative foods that I like just as much. I'm sure it has for you, too!

Since you are part of the GAPs group, have you discovered any other groups? I became part of the Weston A. Price group through Meetup.com. Are you familar with Weston A. Price? I haven't been to any meetups yet, however.
